A story of two shores
Where the Jersey Shore Meets Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast
Meet Sandy Coyle, the artist behind Jersey Girl Sea Glass Jewelry

A Jersey Girl at heart
I have always been a Jersey Girl at heart. Some of my happiest childhood memories began along the Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights, where my aunt and uncle had a summer house. I loved the beach—the sound of the waves, the treasures tucked into the sand, and especially the little pieces of glass I would find along the shore. Smoothed by time and tide, each piece seemed to hold a story of its own. Those small discoveries stayed with me long after summer ended.
A life shaped by two coasts
More than 30 years ago, I made Southwest Florida my home. I fell in love with the warm Gulf waters, changing skies, shells, sea grasses, and beautiful beaches. For over 20 years, I have been creating distinctive jewelry inspired by the places and memories I treasure. My work brings together the two coastlines that have shaped me: the Jersey Shore, where my love of sea glass began, and the Florida Gulf Coast, where I live and create today.
Handmade with pieces of both shores
In my Jersey Girl Sea Glass collection, I carefully wrap natural sea glass from the Jersey Shore, honoring the unique shape, color, and character of every piece. I also work with cultured sea glass that has been drilled and thoughtfully selected for its coastal colors. No two pieces of natural sea glass are exactly alike, so each design has a personality all its own.
My Sea Scape pendants tell a story of both places. They bring together Jersey sea glass with sand, shells, and seaweed from the beautiful beaches of Southwest Florida. Each pendant is a little meeting of shores—a reminder that memories of one coast can find a home in another.
More than jewelry
For me, making jewelry is a way to hold on to the places, colors, and moments that inspire me. I hope each design feels personal: a little piece of the beach, made to be worn, enjoyed, and shared. The natural variations in sea glass and coastal materials are part of what make every piece special.
Thank you for visiting my shop and supporting my small business. I hope you find something here that brings back a favorite beach memory, reminds you of someone you love, or carries a little bit of the coast with you wherever you go.
With coastal wishes,
Sandy Coyle
